REALTORS REACHING OUT TO HELP THE NATION


Coronavirus and the following lockdown brought the nation to a standstill. While people are working from home, quarantined in the comfort of their homes, we have government officials, doctors, nurses, police, defence service members working round the clock. Always at the risk of exposure and getting infected.


Stakeholders of almost every sector, be it the IT industry, Real Estate, Food industry, automobile sector have stepped forward and pledged to help those who are helping us. From the donation of masks, surgical gloves, food, sanitizers, worker healthcare to awareness drives.


  • DLF Foundation has donated 50,000 face masks, 3 lakh examination gloves and sanitisers to the district authorities in Gurugram.

  • Bengaluru-based Embassy Group has stepped forward to support the city police and traffic police, by setting up of four hydration stations for police personnel. The stations are equipped with drinking water, refreshments and toilet stop.

  • Godrej Group has allocated Rs 50 crore towards community support and relief initiatives.

  • Lodha Group has ensured food supply arrangements for tens of thousands of workers.

  • Naredco donating Rs 10 lakh to the UP relief fund.

Real Estate is the largest unorganised sector in India, providing by far the most substantial number of seasonal employment in the country. Generating an estimated close to 15.2 million direct and indirect jobs and expected to attract an inflow of $180 billion in FDI by 2020.


Real Estate will be at the forefront of India as a superpower, helping the economy to build up again, bring in FDI. Real Estate is one of the most important sectors of a nation’s economy, besides bringing in money from foreign channels, it plays a vital role of providing infrastructure for the country’s progress.
